Sri Vidhya Kumar heads the Corporate Governance and Compliance practice at Eshwars, with extensive experience in secretarial audits, corporate compliance, and due diligence for banks and financial institutions. She handles compliance independently for corporate clients, assists in mergers and acquisitions, and appears before statutory authorities on matters under the Companies Act, 2013. She also advises foreign companies on their foreign exchange law obligations in India, and was part of the team that structured the only merger of a Limited Liability Partnership with a Company ever executed in India — a landmark transaction that reflects the calibre of her practice. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Laws, and is a Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She is fluent in English, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
