Aanchal M Nichani is the Principal Associate in the Corporate Advisory and Intellectual Property practice at Eshwars, with over eight years of substantive experience across two complementary practice areas. In intellectual property, her work covers the full lifecycle of brand protection — advising on availability and adoption of marks in India and internationally, trademark filing, prosecution, oppositions, enforcement, copyright prosecution, and appearances before the Trademark Registry, the Intellectual Property Appellate Tribunal, and the High Courts. In corporate and insolvency law, she advises on revival and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, reduction of share capital, compounding applications, and dispute resolution, with extensive experience under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code — providing opinions to Resolution Professionals and Liquidators and representing clients before the National Company Law Tribunal and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal. Her practice further extends to Legal Metrology compliance — including audits, regulatory opinions, registrations, and representation before Legal Metrology officers — as well as money recovery suits, Negotiable Instruments Act proceedings, writ petitions, and employment-related advisory. She holds a Master of Laws in Corporate and Financial Law from Jindal Global Law School and a B.A. B.L. (Hons.) from Saveetha School of Law, and was the Winner of the 6th M.K.
